Zoom meetings

Just wanted to let everyone know that I'm working on getting zoom meetings set up for our community. Updates on the details of this will be posted asap. Sending all of our community here much warmth and love during the holidays.

Grief Support Group Guidelines:

Keep your sharing focused on your own thoughts and feelings.

Limit your sharing to three to five minutes, so everyone has an opportunity to share — and to ensure that one person does not dominate the group sharing time.

We are here to support one another, not “fix” one another.

We do not give advice or solve someone’s problem in our time of sharing or offer book referrals or counselor referrals!

Anonymity and confidentiality are basic requirements. What is shared in the group stays in the group. The only exception is when someone threatens to injure themselves or others.

We are not to share information with our spouses/family/co-workers. This also means not discussing what is shared in the group among group members. This is called gossip.

Offensive language has no place in our support group.

Hi, I just joined & joined 9 groups. I’d like to but I’m not sure how to find local zoom groups/meetings on the subject of such emotional loss. By chance is this zoom grief group ongoing, or was it just for January & February? Thank you, Robyn

In 2014 I met the most amazing man ever. We were both in our very early 20s and were looking for different things at the time. We ceased communication for roughly 6 months.
