sorry abot yore loss of yore son i am

Thank you for listening sorry for your loss and understanding

The saying that "God doesn't give you more than you can handle" is absolute bullshit, in my opinion (no offense intended to you; it's just that so many people spout that platitude as if they know it's true, when they don't and can't).

I don't know if there is a god or not (personally, I tend to be atheist, since my husband died), but if there is then as far as I'm concerned it doesn't care about us. I would love to be wrong about that, but to me, my husband's death and the timing of it, plus all the shit that goes on in the world, does not demonstrate the existence of a loving god.  If I'm wrong and there is actually a loving god, then that god should understand the doubt and hatred of so many humans, considering the hell we go through in this life.

I am sorry for the death of your son, and I hope you are able to find some peace.

Thank you for understanding I taught I was wrong feeling about how I feel about God it's nice to hear I'm not the only one feeling the these sorry for your loss

God did NOT cause the suffering we see on the earth.

Evil began on earth when Satan told the first lie. Satan was originally a perfect angel, but “he did not stand fast in the truth.” (John 8:44) He developed a desire for worship that rightly belongs only to God. Satan lied to the first woman, Eve, and persuaded her to obey him instead of God. Adam joined Eve in disobeying God. Adam’s decision led to suffering and death.—Read Genesis 3:1-6, 19.

When Satan suggested that Eve disobey God, he was starting a rebellion against God’s sovereignty, or position as Most High. The majority of mankind have joined Satan in rejecting God as their Ruler. Thus, Satan has become “the ruler of the world.”—Read John 14:30; 1 John 5:19.

So another question comes to mind. If the above is true, why does God allow Satan to be "the ruler of the world"? Why does God allow all this suffering? Does God ever intend on ending all of this suffering? There are answers to each of those questions, and they can bring real comfort to each one of us even at a time of great suffering, like when we are grieving.
I absolutely understand your thoughts about god because mine are the same and a lot of people tell me don't blame God well who else do I blame I said all the prayers I prayed and prayed and prayed for my mom and my husband he still took them both at the same time so much for not giving me more than I can handle baloney like I said I'm still lost I don't know that my faith will ever return either I'm very sorry for your pain and your grief I hope somehow your pain eases

It was not supposed to be like this

In 2014 I met the most amazing man ever. We were both in our very early 20s and were looking for different things at the time. We ceased communication for roughly 6 months. During which time, he completed basic training and joined the Air Force. By the time we reconnected he was already at his first duty station.. 8 hours away.We decided we wanted to continue our relationship and proceeded to cultivate a deeply emotional connection. Regular calls and video chats, visits while he was home on…See More

Being the Other Woman/Other Man

This is for anyone who has lost their lover to death and you were the other woman/other man in their life. We have to grieve in silence. I can't find any support groups and feel like I'm the only one going through this situationSee More
