new member to this sad situation

can someone direct me on what we are doing here, is it chat in a specific group?

Linda I am so sorry you have needed to find a group such as this one.  I have been around this place for a  year now.  I read through the new posts.  Sometimes I chat with someone in the main room at the bottom of the page.  You can read all posts in every group but you need to be a member of a group to comment back.  So many of us cross over into many categories.  If you feel you want to be part of one or many groups its ok.  What I have found is no matter the loss we can relate better to each other here than with anyone in our face to face lives.  Hope that helps you find your way around.

Linda, I am so sorry for your loss.  I have joined several groups on here and comment on a few of them.  I like Anna, go into the main chat room sometimes to chat, but have found that there are not too many folks who go in there and really chat, so was a little disappointed in that.  I was kinda hoping for a place where there'd always be someone in the chat room chatting so that when I needed to talk to someone that they'd be there.  Even though that is not the case, I find that just posting a comment in a group about the way I am feeling at that particular moment helps and the feedback and support from the others helps as well.  But if you ever just need to talk, feel free to send me a message and a time you will be in chat and I will be more then happy to come in and chat with you.
