Hi all, i just feel like sharing 'my story' instead of just commenting and relating to other discussions, well here it is...

December of last yr i got married on my bday.i am 35 and he is 33.evrythin was fine until we moved in together 3wks after.he shouted at me evryday, cursed at me,called me names (stupid,pooh/feces,etc).some minor physical abuse, hit me in the head, hit my face w/ a rag. I wanted to leave him but my parents didnt want to.his parents r also so nice so i decided to give it a chance.he did change,d only thing that remained was his shoutin at me evryday w/c i had actualy goten used to(no effect on me anymore).in february i found out i was pregnant.end of march he admitted to me a couple of things,1st,that he hangs out w/ gay men,2nd,that he is doin drugs.he said he never did nythin w/ those gay men just company.he said he does it for money(but its not like wr starving) and that he likes all d compliments he gets from them.as for d drugs he said its ecstacy and pills(sumtyms he does not know d content).me and his family contronted him a couple of days after.he got violent again i got so scared and thought abt my baby so i left our home.2wks after i learned he purchased some drugs and got a death threat bec of some misunderstanding w/ d quantity(he said its a drug syndicate).after 2wks he got sick of a random infection,i really thought it was minor but a wk aftr he got hospitalized and w/in 2wks he was dead.thou i moved out of our home we are in constant contact via phone.i saw him again on d 1st day he got hospitalized,at d ER.wyl he was in critical condition i told myself if he gets well i will forgt abt evrythin and move back in.more than a month after his death his doctors called us in for a meeting, they then informed us that they just gt back w/ another test result and it was found he had fullblown aids.before then i was very depresd w/ his death w/c was getting worse and worse evryday.but when i learned this i got mad.my husband is a dctr so they said he couldve gotten it from an accidental prick given that he has an extremly good reputation but d odr doctors who didnt know him personaly said he couldve gotten it from sex as well.they told us bec they are concernd for me and my baby.i was not that worried at that time as i actualy just tested negative for hiv.after what he admitted i got scared and got myself tested w/o telling nyone.his doctors asked that i gt tested again this time w/ d viral load.they both came out negativ again.my husbands infectious dctr said im cleared but my ob wants to test me up to 1yr just to be sure(thou she still wants me to breastfeed nyway).well thats my story.i just felt like i needed to share it and would be interested to know what odr ppl think as well...

Addie replied to Kali's discussion It was not supposed to be like this in the group Being the Other Woman/Other Man
"Kali I’m so so sorry you are going through this. Grief is hard enough, but going through it secretly, all the while having to continue showing up for your kids, is just brutal. Perhaps your friend was careful to hide your conversations behind…"

In 2014 I met the most amazing man ever. We were both in our very early 20s and were looking for different things at the time. We ceased communication for roughly 6 months. During which time, he completed basic training and joined the Air Force. By the time we reconnected he was already at his first duty station.. 8 hours away.We decided we wanted to continue our relationship and proceeded to cultivate a deeply emotional connection.
