My father died when I was 2 years old. My mother is the only one who brought me up, faced all the hardships in life to give me the life I have today. She died of heart attack last month on 2 October, 2015 1:05am dye to heart attack. I did everything I could to save her, took her to the hospital but I couldn't save her. I'm in b.tech 3rd year, 21 years old. Words can't express how much I miss her everyday. I'm not the type of person who like to cry in front of others. I wish I could hug her once more.

Death is definitely an enemy. Even when our loved one is no longer suffering from a chronic illness, death leaves a huge hole in our lives.

That hole will never be filled. Unless we can be reunited.

The Bible gives us that hope.

Mark 5:42 — And immediately the girl rose and began walking. (She was 12 years old.) And at once they were beside themselves with great ecstasy.

This is an account of a daughter who had died. Jesus brought her back to life and reunited her with her parents. How wonderful.

If we could experience that....our pain would be gone. The Bible gives me great comfort because it promises that these type of reunions will happen. Maybe that thought can comfort you as well.

It was not supposed to be like this

In 2014 I met the most amazing man ever. We were both in our very early 20s and were looking for different things at the time. We ceased communication for roughly 6 months. During which time, he completed basic training and joined the Air Force. By the time we reconnected he was already at his first duty station.. 8 hours away.We decided we wanted to continue our relationship and proceeded to cultivate a deeply emotional connection. Regular calls and video chats, visits while he was home on…See More
