I was thinking, my brother was a very good young man. This is a person that was kind, funny and sensitive. He got a woman pregnant and took responsibility. He was looking for work and wanted to be a good father and had perfect attendance in school. A very bright and outgoing person who was planning to go to college. There are murderers, rapists, and child abusers that live past 17. I dont understand why so many evil negative people live so long and happy, meanwhile decent people suffer.  Some people say that God, or whoever, only takes the best. I guess he was too good and loving  to be on the same spiritual as the rest of us. The world we are living on is hell. There is sickness, violence and poverty. At least our loved ones dont have to be on this plane and suffer with us. I just dont understand the imbalance in this world. You would think that God would want more positive people to stay in this world. My brother was shot twice and did not survive. There are children who get shot in the head and live. I dont understand why my brother couldnt be saved.

So many of us are thinking the same thing.  Why do the good ones have to be the ones getting shot, getting cancer with no cure or treatments, injured beyond saving, when so many horrible people seem to live forever.  When my husband was dying, our 10 year old grandson said, Nana, its true, the good really do die young when the drug dealers and thieves keep right on being here.  It was a hard conversation to have with a little boy.  I dont think there is any understanding for the unfairness of it.  Hugs to you though.  Be kind to yourself as you go through this horrible time.
I see it the same way as you do. I just dont get it. Murderers (including my husband's killer) are still out there enjoying life and freedom. While good people, like my husband who was a family man, loved our son deeply, hard working, was taken away just like that. And we are left to suffer. I just dont get it.

It was not supposed to be like this

In 2014 I met the most amazing man ever. We were both in our very early 20s and were looking for different things at the time. We ceased communication for roughly 6 months. During which time, he completed basic training and joined the Air Force. By the time we reconnected he was already at his first duty station.. 8 hours away.We decided we wanted to continue our relationship and proceeded to cultivate a deeply emotional connection. Regular calls and video chats, visits while he was home on…See More
