Don't grieve alone; 14,000 members and growing
I'm so sorry for your loss and the difficulties you're having. I'm not quite sure what you mean by "paralyzed" by grief-? I'm guessing you mean you aren't active or go out "into the world" very little etc...I don't have any pat answers but you might try a grief counselor, or perhaps a group session (you can search on the internet for local ones). Or talk to someone you feel you can talk to about this, if there is such a person. Also try to "keep moving" even if only in small ways, like shopping (could even be window shopping) or going to a movie or to see someone, take a walk, etc. I guess the main point is to try something, anything. I hope you are doing better and if nothing else feel free to discuss here........
Each one of us experiences our grief differently. Being paralyzed by your grief is how you, or your body, is coping. I believe there are steps you could take to help move you through your grief and becoming un-paralyzed. But you will need to make those first steps.
I see your post was from last month. How are you doing now? Have you been able to take steps to help you? I know through the website I am a part of, noted in my signature, that meditation has offered a step towards help. It may be an option for you also.
Hugs.
