This is my first death experience ever. God
Had to take my mother of all people. She was my last parent and I have 3 siblings but we don't have the same father so they kind of pushed me out of there little circle. I have felt nothing but emptiness and fear since she died. I was very close to my Mother. When do these feelings go away or do they ever?

I am sorry for your loss.  I cannot offer any answers or anything, as I don't have any, but I posted because I did not want you to think you are alone in feeling as you do.  There are many people on this site, including me, whose loved ones have died and who feel the same kind of emptiness and fear.  In my case it is my husband who died.

I'm sorry for your loss as well. I know the heartbreak of losing the one person that you could talk to and confide in. It makes the world feel like a huge, scary place. To be honest, the feelings don't ever go away. They will change, but they will never go away. I'm sorry your siblings are of now help. Wasn't this their mother too? They don't feel anything about it? Do you know if they all talk to each other? Do they have the same father?

If you can, see if you can see a grief counselor. Look at churches and places near you online, some places are free, most you have to pay. If you want to talk, message me. I don't mind. This site can be sorta slow in responses, so don't think people don't care. Hugs to you.

My siblings and I all live right around my mother and step father. My step father is a while other story. There is no one in my family that is willing to comfort anyone not even themselves. My husband won't comfort me because he says he ca not deal with funerals or
death. His mother died when my husband was real young and he has never grieved for her so he says he can not be there for me grieving over my mother.
Denise,
Do you have a good friend you could talk to about all this? Not that you aren't welcome to share here (you are), but a "real life" friend might help too. And/or, maybe a counselor could help a bit.
I team drive a semi truck with my husband so it doesn't leave a lot of time to make friends. We don't stay in one place more than a few days.
The attached magazine has a wonderful discussion on death. What the Bible really teaches on the subject.

I find that the Bible Truth is a great source of comfort. I hope it helps.

It was not supposed to be like this

In 2014 I met the most amazing man ever. We were both in our very early 20s and were looking for different things at the time. We ceased communication for roughly 6 months. During which time, he completed basic training and joined the Air Force. By the time we reconnected he was already at his first duty station.. 8 hours away.We decided we wanted to continue our relationship and proceeded to cultivate a deeply emotional connection. Regular calls and video chats, visits while he was home on…See More

Being the Other Woman/Other Man

This is for anyone who has lost their lover to death and you were the other woman/other man in their life. We have to grieve in silence. I can't find any support groups and feel like I'm the only one going through this situationSee More
