The loss of a loved one affects us physically as well as emotionally.  Unfortunately, grieving opens the way for physical illness.

Grief makes us susceptible to illness such as the common cold, sore throat and infections. The stress of grief can also bring about ulcerative colitis, rheumatoid arthritis, asthma, heart disease and cancer.  What we think and feel has a direct effect on our biological systems.

Are you experiencing some type of physical illness?

Sounds like you may benefit from a community of people that will help keep you on track.  Join http://ichange.com - it's free unless you want the help of a nutritionist and then there is a monthly charge.  But I would go ahead and try the free program.  What do you have to lose?  Honestly, the members are amazing.  add me as a friend.  ichange.com/user/menucoach

I lost my brother and everyone in my family has had a cold last month, after it happened. And now this last week every one of us had a terrible flu..

I have bad anxiety. When it gets real bad like it has been I get sick my stomach.  I have been able to keep limited meals down. Mostly crakers, gatorade, hot tea. ect. My ex fiancee actually passed away 5 years ago but i didn't know about it till 2 weeks ago. When I went to the cemetery with his sister i almost fainted. I can't see a dr because I don't have any insurance. I have lost family and friends. I have never lost someone I love as a husband. Its a different kind of hurt. It just makes your heart ache as it never has before. I didn't know he passed away. I have been looking for him since 2009. I wanted to try and be together again.  I cry myself to sleep. Worse than that I having crying spells whenever they hot like at WalMart or something. I love him so much and I want him back.
dont count on this lady getting back to you she asked me for some information to send her a personal message which i did--but she nevr got back to me and that was 2 months ago

Addie replied to Kali's discussion It was not supposed to be like this in the group Being the Other Woman/Other Man
"Kali I’m so so sorry you are going through this. Grief is hard enough, but going through it secretly, all the while having to continue showing up for your kids, is just brutal. Perhaps your friend was careful to hide your conversations behind…"

It was not supposed to be like this

In 2014 I met the most amazing man ever. We were both in our very early 20s and were looking for different things at the time. We ceased communication for roughly 6 months. During which time, he completed basic training and joined the Air Force. By the time we reconnected he was already at his first duty station.. 8 hours away.We decided we wanted to continue our relationship and proceeded to cultivate a deeply emotional connection. Regular calls and video chats, visits while he was home on…See More
