Why do the good ones have to be taken? My dad was such a wonderful guy, I just can't understand why he had to endure such pain and misery. Couldn't it have been me? What is god's plan in all of this? Why did he pick him and not me?

You are right. God does have a plan. What helps me is knowing that life is eternal and I will see my brother on the other side. I have had some extraordinary experiences that convinces me of this. It also helped me to read "Your Eternal Self" by R. Craig Hogan. I gave a copy to my brother to read and it has helped him cope with his own fear of death and now he too is convinced of eternity.

I'm here for you.

I agree with you and I m sorry fro your dad. God taken only good persons because he also need good persons in heaven. Your dad was older then you that is the reason he pick your dad. I lost my uncle 3 years ago and I also thought like you. God why you pick him so early?
But this is the reality of life. Everyone going to heaven one day. I understand your feelings. Be strong and trying to move on.

condolences

Hello Daddysgirl, Im sorry you are so sad. I was equally as sad when my father died. It was very sudden and unexpected. That was quite a while ago. Since then, I've also lost a sister and a brother. Believe me when I say that I feel your pain. But I have made a thorough search of the scriptures and have made some wonderful discoveries! So my question isn't "why does God take them?", but "Why do the churches teach such lies?" The truth is, the Bible says the dead are conscious of nothing, but compares death to to a state of sleep. You can see this for yoursef if you'll read the account of Jesus friend Lazarus at John 11: 1-44. There is so much to learn just from this account alone. But I don't want to bombard you with too many details right now. I just want you to know that God is not to blame. Think about this...if God wanted EVERYONE in heaven, why would He have sacrificed His only begotten son as a ransom to buy back life for us?  And why did Jesus resurrect his dead friend back to the earth? According to the church, he should have already been in heaven! I'm sorry if I seem to be rambling on too long. I'm just very pasionate about this subject. I hope this has been some help to you.

iv saed it my self daddysgirl why him why not me all i no it hrts so mush

People always ask "Why". Most do not realize that the answer is in the Bible. That's where we can find the answers to all of lifes questions. Even the ones about death. Knowing that our sorrow isn't caused by God actually helps ease the pain. Please let me know if you'd like for me to share the scriptures with you.

It was not supposed to be like this

In 2014 I met the most amazing man ever. We were both in our very early 20s and were looking for different things at the time. We ceased communication for roughly 6 months. During which time, he completed basic training and joined the Air Force. By the time we reconnected he was already at his first duty station.. 8 hours away.We decided we wanted to continue our relationship and proceeded to cultivate a deeply emotional connection. Regular calls and video chats, visits while he was home on…See More
